The first four screenprints are taken from Nebuchadnezzar's vision of the statue in the Book of Daniel. The interpretation of what each section means is spelled out in the scripture. The last three screenprints are from Eziekiel and Revelation. These are photo screenprints made using an old WWII copy camera and developing film by hand.

	King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream. He ruled the ancient kingdom of Bablyon c. 607BC. (Sadam Hussein thought he was Nebuchadnezzar reincarnated). Bablyon is in Iraq just south of Baghdad. He dreamed of a statue with a head of gold , breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, legs of iron, feet part of iron and part of clay. (Daniel 2:32) These parts represented world empires to come.	There is no statue of Nebuchadnezzar in existence today. I used a statue of Sargon and the gates of ancient Babylon, the ruins of Babylon, and their god Marduk

	This is the silver part of the statue. It represents the fact that Medo-Persia (Iran) invaded Bablyon and started a new world empire. On the night of the supper of the Handwriting on the Wall, while the revelers were mocking God, Belshazzar last king of Babylon was slain and his power passed to Darius the Mede. Cyrus and Darius were two great historical figures from Medo Persia. Their tombs and the Palace of Persepolis are in this print.	What was then Persia (Iran) invaded what was then Babylon (Iraq). Doesn't anything ever change? The Iran/Iraq war was going on in 1980 when I created these prints.

	The third world empire was Alexander the Great, the Grecian Empire, the kingdom of brass. Daniel had his own dream later that spelled out exactly what the third empire would be. It was the king of Greece (Alexander the Great). "...therefore the he goat waxed very strong, the great horn was broken and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven". Later, it was explained that Alexander would not pass on his empire but that it would be divided into four. This happened. Notice that Alexander placed goat's horns on his coinage.	The four would be Cassander (Macedonia), Ptolemy (Cleopatras ancestor-Egypt) Selucis (Mesopotamia), Lycimachus (Thrace)

	The fourth empire was Rome. and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet....Then the prophcy jumps to the future and to a revived Roman empire out of which should come the antichrist.	The Roman empire was known for it's brutality.

	This scene is from Revelation . And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before Godc, saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates...which were prepared...for to slay the third part of men.	Could also be titled "Armies of the East" The Euphrates river runs through Iraq and is sometimes considered a demarkation line between East and West.

	This was taken from Eziekiels vision of the valley of dry bones that revived and grew muscles and skin and became an army. Then it was explained that the bones "are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off. Therefore prophesy and say to them, Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel".	Key to the prophecy timetable is Israel becoming a nation again after years of diaspora. It became a nation in 1948. The temple mount was taken in 1967. There are over2000 years between Eziekiel and 1967..

	Rev 13:16 "and he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name". This could not happen without the technologies of our day. 1. The computer 2. Microchips 3. Satellites	I re-used the ten head theme from the Roman Empire print because it is in the area of the revived Roman empire that produces the antichrist..
